GTU Exams 2020 Postponed: As per the latest update, the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has decided to postpone all the GTU Summer Exam 2020 which were scheduled to be held in April – May 2020 due lockdown announced amid COVID-19 crisis. The Technical University decided to postpone all the exams held by the varsity and institutes affiliated to it, indefinitely, following the state-wide lockdown imposed by the Gujarat Government to counter the spread of Coronavirus in the state.

In addition to this, GTU also published a notification on its website confirming that the university campus will be closed on 24th and 25th March 2020 as part of the state-wide lockdown. Therefore, students have been advised to stay away from campus and try not to enter the same until further notice. The University also advised students to keep referring the official website and other online platforms, through which all future notifications, information and other details will be shared with them. In line with the government instructions, recently, GTU had also cancelled the World Arduino Day too on March 21, which was to be celebrated at its campus.Gujarat University to Offer Online Lectures
Amid the lockdown announced by the state and central government, the University of Gujarat is trying to explore new options to ensure that the learning process of students does not get hampered. As part of it, the varsity plans to hold online lecture series for the students that will keep students engaged and also ensure that the syllabus and other important aspects related to it are covered.Entrance Exams, Recruitment Exams Cancelled
As part of the preventive measures against COVID-19, the Gujarat Government has imposed a state-wide lockdown. Amid lockdown, several Entrance exams including GUJCET as well as Recruitment Exams have been postponed by the respective exam authorities. Media reports also indicate that the Gujarat Government has decided to promote all students from 1st to 9th Class to the next class without holding any exams.
